The ARRI 12/18kW HMI Fresnel System features a powerful HMI lamp head with a 24.5″ Fresnel lens, a 12/18kW electronic ballast with Active Line Filter and DMX support, four-leaf barndoors, filter frame, and a 50′ head to ballast cable. The daylight-balanced lamp is capable of outputting up to 18,000 watts and work from 190-250 VAC with the use of the ballast.
The Active Line Filter provides a higher Power Factor resulting in more efficient power use. This is accomplished by shifting the voltage and current waveforms in phase and minimizing harmonics and spikes. The ALF also minimizes the current carried back on the neutral leg of the power systems. Included with the light are a four leaf barndoor set and a filter frame for modifying light as well as a 50′ head to ballast cable.
